Pink fire quartz

This type of quartz has been discovered in the 2005 in the Bahia state, Brazil.

The very thin hexagonal platelets of the copper sulfide covellite when seen under transmitted light are green,
while observed with overhead light or oblique fiber optic reflect a beautiful pink color; an aventure scence effect is the result.

 This is the first time that covellite is found as inclusions in quartz.
